World Water Day 2018

22nd March 2018 is a “World Water Day”. The campaign holds an objective to create awareness about the significance of water in our daily life. This event was initially celebrated in 1993 by United Nation (UN).

Below are the effects if sources of water are not well maintained:

Drought
Flood
Landslide
✅Affecting agricultural activities
✅Interfering with food supply process
✅Extinction of flora and fauna
✅Harmful to humans

Based on United Nation (UN) report, more than 5 millions people all over the world will experience a shortage of water by the year of 2050 due to the increasing polluted water supplies, climatic changes and increasing demand of water.

Let’s together create awareness to appreciate the existing water resources so that our Earth will never turn dry and barren which may cause death and starvation.
