The uncertain weather in Pakistan have killed two people

PAKISTAN, May 2, 2023 – At least two people died, while two others were injured due to a lightning strike in Khuzdar area, Aranji, Balochistan.

A few houses have experienced partial damage to their boundary walls.

In addition, an earthquake with a magnitude 4.5 and a depth of 54 kilometers has hit Balochistan.

The earthquake tremors were also felt in Basima, Shamsi, Damag, Kharan and Khuzdar, while the areas of Kech, Panjgoor, Washuk, Khuzdar, Mastung, Surab and Lasbella experienced heavy rain.

While in Turbat city, it was hit by flood, but the situation is currently under control.

Balochistan province is expected to experience rain, thunderstorms, and hailstorm from 27th April to 3rd May. The heavy rain is expected to cause flash floods.

The forecasted weather conditions may lead to infrastructure and standing crops damaged in Balochistan.
