The first mushroom cultivation project was initiated within a school compound where most of the villagers send their children. Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tampoi (Asli) had fully supported the project by providing space and area as well as working together to provide a new opportunity for the nearby Orang Asli community.  A small group had already been given exposure to the project to enable them to become mentor or group leader for their community mushroom cultivation project.
