Godda is an under developed district due to the absence of basic infrastructure. Communication is still a matter of concern as the district is without any rail link. Literacy rate of the district is very low, stand at 56.40% (Census, 2011) which is 10% lower than the state’s average literacy rate.
IR India seeks to provide educational infrastructure in Godda district in the state Jharkhand through refurbishing and reconstructing the existing community school building in Sahoro village.

OBJECTIVE
The objective of this project is to build safe education facility to meet the educational needs of the children belonging to most marginalised communities environmental protection aimed at building resilience to erratic climate conditions and food insecurity.
