WHAT IS CHARITY WEEK?
Charity Week is a global volunteer-led campaign with the vision of uniting the Ummah. It all begin in 2003 with a shoebox of donations at university in London, UK, Now, it is a worldwide movement with 9 countries coming together every year to inspire change.
This year, Charity Week will take place from 20–26 October 2025.
WHAT WE DO?
Charity Week is all about unity, compassion, and action.
Every October, for one powerful week, Charity Week brings together a variety of institutions (schools, universities, workplaces) with a shared vision of a united Ummah.
Together, we fundraise for projects supporting orphans and children in need through education, healthcare, shelter, and protection.
Our volunteers do fun challenges to raise funds and most importantly, show the world what a united Ummah is capable of.
OUR IMPACT
Since 2003, we have collectively raised over $20 million USD (RM120 million++)!
Our mission to fundraise for orphans and children in need as a united ummah has had a transformative impact across the globe supporting over 160 projects in 40+ countries.
From those projects, there have been over 650,000 primary right holders. They are those directly supported by the project. With countless more secondary right holders, meaning this is a understatement of the overall number of right holders!
THEMES
Theme in Charity Week change every year to provides focus, inspires engagement and helps to convey a powerful, united message to a wider audience.
This year theme is Servant Leadership

- Perfected Character: Purify and clean your hearts in order to sacrifice for others to achieve unity in the ummah
