Sharing the Blessings of Aidiladha: Let's Spread the Joy Together
In 2024, Islamic Relief successfully facilitated 192,991 Qurbani shares across 27 countries, reaching communities in need across multiple continents.
A total of 543,006 Qurbani meat packs were distributed, benefiting more than 3,088,350 individuals in these countries.
Among these, 816 Qurbani shares were contributed by generous Malaysians, supporting the distribution of sacrificial meat in Mali, Malawi, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, and Gaza, Palestine.
Alhamdulillah, over 4,773 individuals in these six countries were able to enjoy nourishing Qurbani meals.
Despite the critical humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Islamic Relief’s dedicated teams ensured that the Qurbani meat reached those in need, bringing comfort during these difficult times.
This year, Islamic Relief Malaysia aims to raise RM600,000 to continue sharing the blessings of Qurbani with families in Malaysia, Mali, Malawi, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, and Gaza, Palestine, through 737 Qurbani parts.
The Rezeki Qurban campaign is open until 31th May 2025.
Each family will receive around 2kg – 4kg of Qurban meat, which is expected to last for one week.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “There is no deed done by the children of Adam on the day of Al-Nahr (Eid al-Adha) that is more loved by Allah other than shedding blood (sacrifice animals). Indeed, he will come on the Day of Judgment with his horns, feathers and nails and indeed the blood will reach the pleasure of Allah SWT before it falls to the earth. So, purify your souls (by sacrifice)."
