Many people dream of the beauty of white, soft and fluffy snow, but yet there are those who are suffering from the cold harsh winter.
Celebrating Aidiladha, Sharing the Blessings
In 2025, Islamic Relief globally facilitated 185,048 qurban shares across 29 countries spanning multiple continents.
A total of 585,487 qurban meat packs were distributed, benefiting more than 3,225,319 individuals worldwide.
From Malaysia alone, 731 qurban shares were contributed, supporting communities in Mali, Malawi, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, and Gaza, Palestine.
Alhamdulillah, through the distribution of 2,594 meat packs, 13,976 individuals in these six countries were able to enjoy qurban meals.
Despite the critical situation in Gaza, qurban meat distribution successfully reached those in need, made possible by the dedicated efforts of Islamic Relief staff in Palestine.
This year, Islamic Relief Malaysia aims to raise RM650,000 to deliver qurban meat to communities in Mali, Niger, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, and Palestine (Gaza) through 480 qurban parts.
The Rezeki Qurban campaign is open until 20 May 2025.
Each family is expected to receive approximately 2–5 kg of qurban meat, which can help sustain them for up to a week.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “There is no deed done by the children of Adam on the day of Al-Nahr (Eid al-Adha) that is more loved by Allah other than shedding blood (sacrifice animals). Indeed, he will come on the Day of Judgment with his horns, feathers and nails and indeed the blood will reach the pleasure of Allah SWT before it falls to the earth. So, purify your souls (by sacrifice)."
