Every day, millions of people around the world struggle with hunger, poverty and homelessness.
War has claimed thousands of lives, shattered hopes, and extinguished dreams, while natural disasters have torn families apart, destroyed homes, and caused the destruction of property.
Amidst the tragedy, there are faces grappling with the struggle to survive. There are young children sleeping on empty stomachs, fathers risking their lives for a morsel of food, and mothers forced to suppress their emotions and put on a brave face for the sake of their families.
When they are in dire need… where are we?
MySedekah is one of the largest fundraising projects organized by Islamic Relief Malaysia, aimed at distributing emergency aid and development assistance both domestically and internationally.
Key sectors for MySedekah’s aid include Emergency Relief, Sustainable Livelihoods, Education, Health, and Food & Nutrition.
Islamic Relief staff distributed emergency aid to flood-affected residents in Bangladesh.
Where Are MySedekah Funds Distributed?
MySedekah provides Islamic Relief Malaysia with the flexibility to determine the allocation of donated funds based on the needs and priorities of aid programs, as well as the prevailing situation.
In addition to Malaysia, MySedekah aid will be distributed to countries where Islamic Relief operates, such as Syria, Sudan, Mali, Indonesia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and others.

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “Whoever relieves a person of a worldly hardship, Allah will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Judgment. Whoever makes things easy for someone in distress, Allah will make things easy for him in this world and the Hereafter.” (Narrated by Muslim) By the time we take a moment to help… they have already run out of time.
