1 in 5 children worldwide are living in extreme poverty, many of the simple necessities of life are beyond their reach. Instead, their life is incredibly challenging, they face the risk of illiteracy, disease, child labor, lifelong poverty, and early death.
Many children live in refugee camps having uprooted from their homes, and others still live in war zones where they suffer from wounds and trauma.
Islamic Relief has been supporting families and orphaned children affected by war, poverty, and ill-health for 36 years. Through our Orphan Sponsorship Programme, we help over 85,000 orphan children to look forward to a better future.
This year, Islamic Relief Malaysia provides an opportunity for the public to sponsor orphaned children in over 25 countries through the MyYateem Sponsorship.
We aim to help and transform the lives of orphans and vulnerable children by taking them out of extreme poverty.
