{"id":6264,"date":"2018-04-27T16:57:11","date_gmt":"2018-04-27T08:57:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/islamic-relief.org.my\/sandbox_www\/?p=6264"},"modified":"2018-05-22T09:08:49","modified_gmt":"2018-05-22T01:08:49","slug":"islamic-relief-malaysia-committed-to-offer-help","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/islamic-relief.org.my\/sandbox_www\/islamic-relief-malaysia-committed-to-offer-help\/","title":{"rendered":"Islamic Relief Malaysia Committed To Offer Help"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tebedu, 7 Apr 2018 \u2013 30 beneficiaries under Community Development Project run by Islamic Relief Malaysia (IRM) are given exposures on health concerns in a monthly meeting held at Surau Darul Ihsan Jaya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to a Medical Officer of Klinik Kesihatan Tebedu, Dr. Norshamira Mohd Radzi, the talk regarding Tuberculosis (TB) is held as a way to educate them on the significance of hygiene and cleanliness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When asked about the impact of the talk, He stressed that it is a social responsibility that should be continuously implemented in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cA lot of people have little knowledge about health concerns especially the elderlies. With such activity, I believe it\u2019s certainly a good way to educate and spread awareness to them,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">She also added, \u201cThere\u2019s a significance between health clinics and hospitals. Clinics are in-charge to prevent diseases while hospital are more towards treating the patients.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cMost people who seek for treatments at Klinik Kesihatan Tebedu only experience common diseases such as fever, cough, and cold. This indicates that their health condition is still fine,\u201d she confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The monthly meeting conducted by IRM is also an approach to gather all beneficiaries in Tebedu coming from different neighbourhoods such as Kampung Insan Jaya, Kampung Darul Falah, and Kampung Darul Iman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Apart from health awareness talk, the meeting is also filled with Islamic lectures managed by Ustaz Mahidi from Harakah Islamiah (HIKMAH) Sarawak.
