{"id":24021,"date":"2021-08-23T14:34:09","date_gmt":"2021-08-23T06:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/islamic-relief.org.my\/sandbox_www\/?p=24021"},"modified":"2021-08-31T14:40:04","modified_gmt":"2021-08-31T06:40:04","slug":"germany-floods-islamic-relief-distributes-hot-meal-assistance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/islamic-relief.org.my\/sandbox_www\/germany-floods-islamic-relief-distributes-hot-meal-assistance\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany Floods: Islamic Relief Distributes Hot Meal Assistance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>GERMANY, <\/strong>August 23, 2021 &#8211; Islamic Relief Germany has been distributing hot meal assistance to the affected people in Auf Der Muhle, \u200b\u200bStolberg, Germany from 9 to 15 August.<\/p>\n<p>The catastrophic floods that hit Germany in mid-July have collapsed many homes while basements and streets were damaged caused by landslides and also flooded.<\/p>\n<p>Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate are the most affected area.<\/p>\n<p>According to Islamic Relief Germany, 172 people have died so far as of July 22.<\/p>\n<p>Kindergartens and schools were also reported to have been damaged while telecommunication networks, power, and drinking water supply in many places were still disrupted.<\/p>\n<p>Residents of senior citizens, retirement staff, and the disabled (OKU) had to be evacuated.<\/p>\n<p>There are 15 aid organizations actively response in affected areas and identifying the urgent needs for those who were affected.<\/p>\n<p>Islamic Relief is planning to help them by cleaning debris which involves public facilities such as kindergartens, community centers, schools, and libraries.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_media_grid grid_id=&#8221;vc_gid:1630391734279-0dd7cbdc-d50d-7&#8243; include=&#8221;24030,24026,24024,24022&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]GERMANY, August 23, 2021 &#8211; Islamic Relief Germany has been distributing hot meal assistance to the affected people in Auf Der Muhle, \u200b\u200bStolberg, Germany from 9 to 15 August.
