{"id":18173,"date":"2020-06-25T11:32:14","date_gmt":"2020-06-25T03:32:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/islamic-relief.org.my\/sandbox_www\/?p=18173"},"modified":"2020-07-06T11:41:44","modified_gmt":"2020-07-06T03:41:44","slug":"mali-civilian-displacement-increased","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/islamic-relief.org.my\/sandbox_www\/mali-civilian-displacement-increased\/","title":{"rendered":"Mali Civilian Displacement Increased"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>MALI<\/strong>, 25<sup>th<\/sup> June 2020 \u2013 More than 1,400 people have been forced to flee their settlement and staying in makeshift shelters or with the host community due to conflict in Mali.<\/p>\n<p>During the rainy season, the temporary shelters are proving inadequate.<\/p>\n<p>All the families had to leave all their possessions, including food livestock and material goods behind.<\/p>\n<p>A marked deterioration in the security situation\u00a0caused by intercommunal conflict, which led to incidents of\u00a0kidnapping and removal of livestock.<\/p>\n<p>Among the urgent needs that are needed are shelters, food, non-food item (NFI) and water, sanitation and health (WASH) kits.<\/p>\n<p>In response to increasing cases of Covid-19, IR Mali is including specific COVID-19 IEC as part of intervention and also will be providing emergency temporary shelter and WASH kits to all displaced.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_media_grid grid_id=&#8221;vc_gid:1594006433886-ea91f0f0-d246-3&#8243; include=&#8221;18176,18178&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]MALI, 25th June 2020 \u2013 More than 1,400 people have been forced to flee their settlement and staying in makeshift shelters or with the host community due to conflict in Mali.
