{"id":1326,"date":"2017-02-20T16:41:43","date_gmt":"2017-02-20T08:41:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/islamic-relief.org.my\/sandbox_www\/?p=1326"},"modified":"2017-04-21T11:00:21","modified_gmt":"2017-04-21T03:00:21","slug":"news-update-sudan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/islamic-relief.org.my\/sandbox_www\/news-update-sudan\/","title":{"rendered":"News Update &#8211; Sudan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to UNHCR, over 131,000 South Sudanese refugees arrived in Sudan in 2016, the highest number of arrivals per year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Violence, food insecurity, malnutrition, and lack of access to basic services have caused large-scale internal displacement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">During January, IR Sudan in Central Darfur has been undertaking WASH projects and distributing hygiene kits (a total of 1350).
